Gordon Linney (1929-2014) was a coach, advocate for summer figure skating in Manitoba, and lifelong supporter of the skating community. To continue his legacy and belief in skating for everyone, Skate Winnipeg will again be awarding scholarships this summer in his memory. These scholarships are open to any summer registrants in STAR 1-Gold, AdultSKATE or Podium Pathway who is registered and participates for a minimum of 10 Skate Winnipeg Summer Sessions.
Applications should include skater name, number of Summer Sessions registered, skating level (STAR, AdultSKATE, or Podium Pathway), and 200 to 300 words on:

Completed applications should be emailed to scholarships@skatewinnipeg.ca. Scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants after submissions have been received.
Deadline for submission is August 15, 2023.
